US Automatic Patriot RSL Slide Gate AC Operator Kit
Product Description
US Automatic Patriot RSL Slide Gate AC Operator Kit
The US Automatic Patriot RSL Slide Gate AC Operator Kit is a powerhouse of reliability and speed, designed specifically for residential and light commercial slide gates.
Built in the USA, the Patriot RSL is engineered with a focus on simplicity and longevity, making it a favorite for property owners who want "set it and forget it" security.
The "RSL" stands for Residential Slide, but don't let the name fool you. This operator utilizes a heavy-duty stainless steel chain and a high-torque motor that feels much more commercial-grade. It is particularly well-suited for properties where security is a priority, as its fast closing speed minimizes the "tailgating" window for unauthorized vehicles.
Like most professional DC gate operators, the battery is sold separately.
This kit is the AC-charged version. If you are looking for an off-grid solution, the Patriot RSL is also highly efficient when paired with solar panels.
Key Features
- High-Speed Operation: Capable of opening gates at a rate of approximately 1 foot per second, significantly reducing wait times.
- Superior Capacity: Handles gates up to 30 feet in length and weighing up to 650 lbs.
- Weatherproof Durability: Features a UV-stabilized polyethylene cover and a zinc-plated steel chassis to withstand harsh environments without rusting or fading.
- Smart Control Board: The Patriot control board is legendary for its user-friendly setup, offering "plug and play" compatibility with a wide range of accessories.
- Battery Backup: Even though this is an AC-powered kit, it runs off a 12V battery (charged by the AC transformer) to ensure your gate remains fully functional during power outages. Battery not included.
- Testing & Certification: This kit is tested and certified to meet the current UL325 gate operator safety standards.
- Solar Compatible: While this is an AC kit, the Patriot RSL is world-renowned for its efficiency, making it easily convertible to solar power if your needs change.
