The Black Cane Bolt for Vinyl, also known as a drop rod, is an essential hardware component for securing double drive gates or wider entry points. Mounted to the vertical frame of one of the gate leaves, the cane bolt slides down into a hole in the driveway or a set pipe in the ground, anchoring that leaf firmly in place. This allows the other leaf to latch against it, creating a solid barrier. When full access is needed, the bolt is lifted and locked in the "up" position, allowing both gates to swing freely. Finished in durable black galvanized steel, it is strong enough to resist strong winds pushing against large drive gates.
